Sarah Byrnes, a jewelry designer in Simsbury for over fourteen years, has been designing her own jewelry for over 25 years. She has grown her business steadily over the years, starting out in the lower level of the Simsburytown Shops and continuing with her most recent move to the new, larger space last month.
The new store, warm and inviting, is located between Horan's Flowers & Gifts and The Work Shoppe. It was created with an emphasis on natural materials as a way to echo the natural materials she uses to create her jewelry. Sarah shares the design credit with her staff Kim Flynn, Manager and Gemologist, and Priscilla Ruppar, Designer and Marketing Director.
Sarah's success is credited to her loyal customer base, which continues to grow. "Jewelry can be very emotional. Certain pieces are a reminder of important life events, whether it's an engagement ring or a family heirloom. Our customers trust us with those memories." We have several area families that we serve, who we are now helping their third and fourth generations with their jewelry needs.
The move, though, has not changed their approach to business. Customer service is still their top priority. Their customers are like family, and Priscilla summed it up best when she explained that "our relationship doesn't end when they walk out the door with their purchase. We are here for anything that they may need now and in the future."
Whether you're looking to have Sarah and her designers create a one of a kind, custom-piece, or you want to browse the jewelry gallery, this is the destination for you. Because the designers make their own jewelry, customers will find a unique gift that they won't see anywhere else. They have pieces that start out in the very approachable range, and go all the way up to the wildest dream category, including everything in-between. They specialize in colored gemstones, diamonds and pearls set in platinum, palladium, gold and silver.
